A constantly open fresh air duct passive reduces energy efficiency. This damper is well suited for controlling the make-up air fireplaces, clothes dryers or central ventilation systems. Positive control of this air will assure building comfort, safety, and energy efficiency.

Suitable for controlling low temperature air. In that instance use the Hoyme DH - back draft hood. An optional end switch as part of the damper can be ordered to prove position when connecting a safety control system or secondary device. This unique and patented design provides a tight air seal right at the building wall screen for intake removed exhausting.

Moh dampers are either power open or closed for exhausting air and controlling inlet. Flashing included for easy installation with siding or stucco. Patented Hoyme spring motor drive c w nylon bearings low voltage synchrony motor, 24vac-5 watt, stall protected.

Either spring or gravity close all Hoyme dampers have a patented spring-drive assembly screen for intake air and removed exhausting. Note: however, not suitable for dryer ventilation.
